I don't think Sydney realized she's in a relationship with a man of focus, commitment and sheer will.
Me: I've seen Unlimited Blade Works, Heaven's Feel, and Fate Zero. I figure I've probably at least got a pretty good foundation.
Fate in a nutshell: "Don't worry about it, do not question it, just go with it"
Basically, there are two kinds of people in the Fate series:
Rewatching this and now I'm waiting for part 2 where he explains Grand Order in perfect detail
Imagine if he explains every singularity and lostbelts, the brains of everyone would just go boom.
Gigguk just proved that everyone would learn history if it had waifus in it.
Gilgamesh being 2/3 god is actually mythologically accurate. I remember asking my Ancient Near Eastern Culture professor why and how, but I can't remember his exact reply. I think it had something to do with the idea of either having especially potent "essence" to impregnate someone, or maybe having an extra person involved.
Originally, the whole Nasuverse clusterfuck started, when Kinoko Nasu wrote some Fantasy/Science Fiction stories as a college student. And worst (or best?) part of it: Since then, he considers EVERYTHING he makes, as lore in his very own Universe...
tl;dr:
I'm relieved this is JUST the Fate Series.
Poor zelretch 'the kaleidoscope guy' schweinorg didn't even get any mention when he is probably the most consequential character in the nasuverse and his existence explains the timeline shenanigans
You been talking about making this video for so long. I'm so happy you got around to making it 😀
The only thing that wasn’t correct was about the Apocrypha timeline: the nazis fight in the 3rd Holy Grail War in Fate/Stay Night timeline to, the divergence occurs in the summoning of the illegal servant: the Einzbern summon a Ruler, in the Apocrypha timeline, instead of an Avenger. This exchange must have been what made possible Darnic's theft of the Greater Grail
Remember when Garnt planned this to be the long version answer to the “do you want the long version or the short version?” question?
Btw, Akasa is actually a Sanskrit term, in common language it means Ether but the term itself becomes much more profound when we read about Akasa in ancient Indian texts.

When people ask who is the greatest historian that ever lived, they will hear the name Gigguk. Or Grant. Because they probably heard Garnt wrong right?
Me: "Oh, so he's probably gonna do a basic overview of the series in chronological order, cool"
I can't belive that after watching this I actually took Garnts advice and just started anywhere I wanted, which was in my case Fate/stay night UBW. I picked specifically this series, because I saw some fight clips of the main character on youtube (which are amazing btw) some time ago and because this is the, as he put it "best girl route" and Rin is cute. What can I say, this feels like a completely independent finished series, with amazing animation and fight scenes and good characters and story. It has been a long time since I binge watched an entire anime series in one day (nevertheless 25 episode series). I can Imagine that some characters may have made more sense if I started with Fate/Zero but, I still had a blast and was not confused while watching it. I was also quite pleased with the ending. Although I would not have minded more romance moments the ending left me quite satisfied. Normally after finishing such a good/big show I'm also a little bit sad and I don't quite know what to do with my life. However, this was not the case after finishing Fate/SN UBW.
