Unpopular opinion: violet evergarden was a cinematic masterpiece in terms of slice of life/adventure type anime. It redefined the way one could create a show in the genre, bringing elements that people really experience in life, rather than just adding a bunch of high school characters and giving you the same old generic plot line, along with a moving scene, rather than a stationary school/home area. The characters Violet affects and is affected by make the story every bit as enchanting as the visuals, and each character develops because of her and allows her to develop. Violet's main goal, to find out what Love is, drives her forward and along with it the plot, leading the audience to make their own decisions based on their experience with the film on what Love is, while also being able to watch Violet come to her conclusion as well. Sorry. I had to get that off my chest.
Can we appreciate this perfect editing and comedy gold
I lost it when you were talking about Citrus and said "im starting to think this show isnt about oranges"
Violet evergarden got a lot better a few episodes later. The backstory is perfectly executed and Violet's character progression is amazing
Let’s all be honest here Darling in the franxx wasn’t shit it was just rushed and the ending was disappointing

For some reason that I cannot explain I loved citrus. Not for the sex, but for the characters. Even though the overall execution of the plot wasn't that great and the story was weird at times (some middle schooler saying that she was sending dirty pics to older men as a job) I really enjoyed the overall romance and I really felt connected to the characters lives. It was overall just a very interesting anime with great characters (except for Matsuri) and an interesting story.
Dude, your editing game is on point. Even when I didn't really know what you were talking about the jokes were so on beat and well represented that it still made me laugh. Great job!
'Everytime I get older, lolis get younger'
Violet Evergarden was great. If you're patient enough to watch through the whole season, it's really really worth it. Would definitely recommend it!
Thank you Gigguk for putting Zero Two's face as the biggest picture in the thumbnail
you forgott SpongeBob Anime Opening 2
Violet Evergarden got really good really quickly, her character developed quite well. It truly is a blessing
Violet Evergarden had a few episodes where they introduce new characters for the story of the episode. And those were my favorite. I think it was the soldier, father/writer, and the daughter mother. Those 3 episodes were amazing.
I wished he would talk about violet Evergarden again cause I want to see his thoughts now that it is done
I’m really late on this because I just started watching This week. Pop Team Epic has an amazing Opening. The visuals complement the song well.
"Yo Sydney, what's that?"
How the hell do you have time to watch all these and not get caught by the FBI
I really would like to hear your final thoughts on Violet Evergarden. I absolutely loved it!
